COVID-19 Pandemic - Midnight Cove is open for business.

midnight-cove-blog-3-2020 Midnight Cove Sunset

Dear Midnight Cove Insiders,

First, we want to share with you that Midnight Cove is open for business. Our beach is private, so it is not included in the closure of Siesta Key Public Beaches. Our beach and pool will remain open subject to “social distancing” guidelines meaning that no groups greater than ten people are allowed and each group must be separated by at least six feet. This may mean that chairs will not be available for all guests at all times. Your cooperation and understanding are essential. Please be aware that our facilities, including the beach and pool, are subject to closure or usage restrictions without advance notice based upon guidance from health authorities or government officials.

At Midnight Cove, we take the health and safety of our guests and associates seriously. We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following the guidelines from these agencies as well as local health departments and medical professionals. Yet as an enhanced preventative measure in light of current related events in Florida, we’ve further enhanced our cleaning, communication, and promotion of healthy hygiene practices.

We also want to share that here at Midnight Cove, we have closed the fitness room and clubhouse until further notice, following what has been recommended. We will limit the number of hours that the office is open to foot traffic each day. We ask that you make every attempt to contact the office via phone or e-mail whenever possible. We have a talented staff that has been working diligently to deal with this difficult situation. The check in process will be conducted via self-check-in using the lock box outside the office. Our team will provide instructions to guests that are using the Midnight Cove Realty rental program.

We do have some amenities here at Midnight Cove that will help make it easier for you to practice social distancing. Our condos all have full kitchens, which allows our guests to prepare food and drinks in their suites instead of going out to restaurants and bars. Publix delivers groceries here at Midnight Cove so you can enjoy a stocked refrigerator without fighting the crowds at grocery stores. We also have gas grills, adequately spaced apart so our guests can prepare food while maintaining a safe distance.

Our team is constantly in communication with local and state officials, ensuring that we are in compliance with all guidelines. We have implemented all CDC recommendations for our business. We look forward to seeing you here on Siesta Key to enjoy the beauty that we share at Midnight Cove. Thank you for your support as we work together to help keep each other safe.

A message from Midnight Cove Realty Re: Your Health and Safety

To our valued Rental Owners, Guests and Team Members:

At Midnight Cove, the health and safety of our Rental Owners, Guests and Team Members is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation through government, state and local officials. According to the most recent information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low.

We want you to feel confident when traveling to Midnight Cove. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Owners’, Guests’ and Team Members’ health and safety.

Here are the actions we have put into place:

  • Situating hand sanitizers in each rental unit, near each elevator, and in common areas.
  • Implemented more frequent cleaning of common area surfaces, such as door knobs and counter tops. These cleanings are performed several times throughout the day by housekeeping and office staff.
  • We have also incorporated these precautions with the housekeeping companies performing all departure cleans.

Rest assured, we are monitoring this developing situation closely, staying in regular contact with federal agencies, health organizations, and other experts. Consider following our social media channels as we will post updates as this situation evolves. Connect with us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

At Midnight Cove, your well-being is central to our mission. Thank you for your support as we work together to help keep each other safe.

We look forward to seeing you on our beautiful property soon.

Plan Your Next Midnight Cove Vacation

We are Located in Siesta Key on the shores of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, across the bay from the mainland Sarasota.

You may be tempted to think that Siesta Key is just a beach town with miles of "the world's finest, whitest sand™", but that's just a really good start...

Siesta Key is the perfect destination to spend a holiday. Whether you are visiting for a week, a month or longer, you are sure to fall in love with Siesta Key!
Midnight Cove is pleased to offer some of the best accommodations on the gulf coast of Florida. Whether you are looking for exciting Siesta Key night life or a secluded getaway, Midnight Cove on beautiful Siesta Key is the perfect location for you.

There are many things to do on Siesta including parasailing, kayaking, jet skiing, fishing charters, sailing, motorcycles, segways, and more, not to mention great restaurants that range from fine dining to the very casual restaurants where a flip flops and cover ups are all you will need and, of course, it wouldn't be the gulf coast without some great seafood restaurants.

Siesta Key boasts 3 world-class beaches

There is never a shortage of things to do at Midnight Cove.

With the crystal white sands of America's Best Beach just steps away, gulf side and bayside pools, two tennis courts, picnic areas, and more, there is never a shortage of things to do at Midnight Cove, but our little piece of paradise is certainly worth exploring and our location in the heart of Siesta Key puts it all at your fingertips.

Siesta Key boasts 3 world-class beaches Siesta Beach, Crescent Beach and Turtle Beach, each with its own unique charm, all well worth a visit.

Our most popular beach, Siesta Beach has been recognized as America's Best Beach by Dr. Beach, America's foremost beach expert. Siesta Beach offers a playground, tennis and beach volleyball courts, and concessions stands. Siesta Public Beach is protected by on-duty lifeguards.

Besting over 30 entrants, the crystal white sand of Crescent Beach was named "The World's Finest, Whitest Sand™" at the Great International Sand Challenge in 1987 and the Travel Channel recognized it as "The Best Sand Beach in America" in 2004. Just south of Siesta Beach and with only one public access, Crescent beach offers a more secluded beach experience that is perfect spot to cuddle of with a great beach book or that special someone.

A favorite among locals, Turtle Beach on the southern tip of the island offers picnic areas, a volleyball court, horseshoe pit and playground, and fishing is permitted in nearby Blind Pass Lagoon. Unlike the powdery white sands of Crescent and Siesta Beaches, the sand on Turtle Beach is darker and coarser.
